SIGNED IVORY NUDE "DOCTOR'S LADY" SCULPTURE A beautifully carved ivory oriental nude. The
simplicity of the carving makes it a piece of art. Signed on the bottom of the
foot by the artist. Late 19th century-early 20th. Doctor's Lady's sculptures
were used by Asian female patients to point at the part of the body that was
ailing them. They are always carved these pieces in a reclining position. 8.5cm
(3.5") Small and delicate. SIGNED ON THE FOOT
