An amazing original oil painting  that reflects the strength of  character of a Czech woman duriing time when the Communist control all aspects of daily life. One can see that she is dressed in ordinary clothes but her spirit remains undaunted. Pica's painting style is said to reflect his interest in the Fauves, the Cubists, while retaining the realism of his subject.   The painting is framed. Condition  is very good.  The painting size is 44" x 33"   Oil on Canvass Signed Pica Date "63"
