WHICH WAY

Oil on Canvass
"Which Way" oil on canvass, is an allegory on duality of woman. Using a conventional correctness of outline, Eduard has covered her left side from her shoulder to her feet. She is holding a violin that represents the more classical side of her. Notice how the straight hair and the somber background retains a sense of conservatism.. Whereas the right side reflects the desire to be free as a bird. The wild hair and exposed nude body along with the lighter outdoor colors inside the window present the artist's view of what often lies beneath the surface of a woman.
