The chair is made entirely of wood. The chair is carved mahogany. It appears that no machine work was done on it. The carving on the front seat and the front back are beautifully matched and well done. The Dragon arms are gold leafed and are carved well. The chair may have been restored and is in excellent condition for its age. There is a small hairline crack on the back. The bottom has a carved signature, L Savine, Pairs 08.
